I’m a big fan of transparency and I wanted to share a little bit about what I post here and on my social media channels and why.
Clearly, I love fashion! Everything I post I would wear and much of this is my own clothing. Not all of it is new, because I don’t have the budget, the need, or the desire to have too much stuff. (Actually hate too much stuff, stresses me out.) This past year I’ve definitely bought a lot less: I’m more interested in good quality and versatile pieces. I like sharing ways in which I mix and match things I already own. Most of the time, you can find similar pieces in stores/online today. (I often link to currently available similar pieces in stories.) Once in a while, I pull items from local stores. I do it to support them. But also because I want to showcase some new things I like that you may be interested in. (Sometimes I do go back and buy them, like this camo sweater!) Brands often offer to send me clothes, accessories, and beauty products. Most of the time, I turn them down because the items aren’t my style and I’m not going to share something I’d never buy. If they do send me something that I like/want, I always include the hashtag #gifted. If they send me something that I like/want AND they pay me to post about it, I use the hashtag #ad. And if I do a blog about it, I clearly state that the products in the blog where given to and/or I was paid to post my thoughts on it. I'm also going back to my roots! I'm sharing product recommendations, tips, and useful hacks related to fashion, beauty, or the home. For those of you who don’t know, I used to be the co-host of a number of TV shows in which we tried and tested a whole whack of different products. Product reviews are in my blood! If you’d like to see something specific, have a fashion or beauty question I could potentially help with, please do drop me a note in comments, DM me on social media or send me an email. Thank you for being here and thank you for your support!🤍
